great place to stop right in west haven .open to the public. Iearn about your towns history going all the way back to the revolutionary war the days of thomas painter...... painters park .they have a period style forge out back.ice cream socials even arts and craft vendors right across the steet from the west haven library. Open all summer see something happening as you drive by well pul over and stop in take a tour of the house
